Isabellas's playhouse

Back again with a new project, a small one. This is going to be a child's playhouse; the kind you would find in some backyards (when you have the space!). It is 1/12" scale, and the body is made out of gator board which is very sturdy and it will not warp. In the first photo, the whole house is held together with masking tape for "dry fit" purposes.

I used scrapbook paper for the wallpaper and found a pretty border for the top. Next, I used already made "hardwood" flooring and handpainted a design with rabbits and chicks...I think the chicks are a little hard to see in the photo. Any way, I am yet to polish the floor before I glue it into place. I am going to apply siding for outer walls, and dye some wood shingles for the roof. I have hand painted the ceiling in sky blue with clouds and some tiny birds flying here and there.

I will have more pictures of the latest progress...however, I appreciate your patient because I am slow at this blogging thing :) and I have too many mini projects going on.

Thank you very much for your visit and have a good one!!!
